ANNOUNCEMENT
DTSC: Methamphetamine Contaminated Property Clean Up (Meeting
Flyer)
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and the Office of
Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) are conducting joint public
workshops for stakeholders and other interested parties on the development of a
health-based target remediation standard (cleanup standard) for methamphetamine
in residences formerly used to illegally manufacture methamphetamine. Three
workshops are scheduled:
January 8, 2008 - Sacramento
January 16, 2008 - Fresno
January 29, 2008 - Carlsbad

DTSC Objectives: DTSC is seeking comments regarding the development of
the recommended methamphetamine cleanup standard for indoor surfaces in
residences. Please refer to

information.
OEHHA Objectives: OEHHA is seeking formal comments on their draft reports
that form the scientific basis for the development of the methamphetamine
cleanup standard for residences that were used to illegally manufacture
