This guide contains administrative and investigative guidance for districts conducting domestic or foreign farm investigations as a follow up to positive produce samples or farms implicated in a produce outbreak investigation. In most cases, these investigations will be assigned by the Office of Crisis Management/Office of Emergency Operations, or DFI. Typically these investigations are conducted by multi-disciplinary teams, including a lead investigator, microbiologist, epidemiologist and environmental sanitarian. |
