Environmental Health Departments in California protect public health, enhance safety and safeguard the environment by delivering Local Environmental Health Programs. The California Conference of Directors of Environmental Health (CCDEH) membership is comprised from the Environmental Health Directors from 62 jurisdictions, including all 58 California counties and 4 California cities. Associate membership is open to all Environmental Health professionals (Membership App). Members of CCDEH are also members of the California Association of Environmental Health Administrators (CAEHA), which is the legislative arm of CCDEH. CAEHA also administers contracts for Environmental Health software with Accela Software and other service providers.
CCDEH holds an Annual Educational Conference at which its officers are elected and organization priorities and positions are established. CCDEH is an affiliate of CSAC and CCLHO. CCDEH also works closely with the Cal-CUPA Forum, CRFSC and CEHA. We also regularly partner with AllTech Services and Nettop Publishing (our webmaster).
CCDEH also offers several products for sale, such as:
- 2014 Body Art Act Booklet
- Disaster Field Manual
- CCDEH Posters
- REHS Career Guide
