Thank you to those who submitted abstracts to the Integrated Foodborne Outbreak Response and Management (InFORM) 2017 conference. The general call for poster and oral presentation abstracts closed on Friday, July 21, 2017.
Save the Date: We will accept epidemiology and environmental health late-breaker abstract submissions starting Monday, August 21, 2017 through Friday, September 1, 2017!

Late-Breaker Abstract Requirements
1. Abstracts must be in English.
2. Abstracts should include a title, authors, and affiliations
3. Abstracts should be no more than 2,000 characters (no spaces) or approximately 300-350 words (which includes the title, authors, and abstract body)
4. The abstract body should be structured to include the following four sections: background, methods, results, and conclusions
5. All abstract submissions must include a word document “Bio Disclosure” form for the primary author. Do not submit a PDF. Abstracts that are submitted without a completed word document Bio Disclosure form will not be considered.
Late-Breaker Abstract Submission Instructions
1. Late-breaker abstracts should be submitted via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:59pm ET.
2. The subject line of the submission email should be “InFORM late breaker abstract submission”. Abstracts submitted without this text in the subject line will not be considered.
3. All abstract submissions must include a word document “Bio Disclosure” form for the primary author. Do not submit a PDF. Abstracts that are submitted without a completed word document Bio Disclosure form will not be considered.

Late-Breaker Abstract Notification/Disposition
All authors for late-breaker presentations will be notified via e-mail of their abstract status by Monday, September 18, 2017. If your late-breaker abstract is selected, the presenting author will be expected to participate in a “rapid-fire” session on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Each late-breaker presentation will include a 5-minute oral presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
Conference Attendance
Please ensure that one of the abstract authors will be able to travel to the conference in the event that your abstract is accepted for a late-breaker presentation. All presenting authors must register for the InFORM 2017 Conference.
