About the Committee

The Food Safety Policy Committee meets monthly, generally on the third Wednesday at 1pm.

The Food Safety Policy Committee, or FSPC, works to address issues related to food safety throughout the state, including providing input on pending food-related legislation or supporting jurisdictions as it relates to new legislation. One of the goals is to help ensure consistent implementation and enforcement for all food programs, such as Temporary Events, Mobile Food Facilities, Permanent Facilities and many others. The FSPC also coordinates food safety guidelines and oversees the regional TACs that support FSPC and the Industry Subcommittee (previously CRFSC).
